UPDATE FROM THE STUDENT PRESIDENT, DUNCAN MACKAY Greetings to all in the alumni community, and I hope this e-bulletin finds you in good health. I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and a pleasant New Year. AUSA closed down for a whole two weeks which was a pleasant break, though the avalanche of emails that greeted our return was not so welcome! January is an important time for students here at Aberdeen. Whilst you read this, most of them will be in the midst of revision/examination hell – here at AUSA we’re trying to help them out by raising awareness of stress-related issues that are particularly prevalent at this time of year. The examination period also affords us the time in the Students’ Association to formulate our plans for the important months ahead – I will keep you informed of these developments in next month’s e-bulletin. Thanks for taking the time to read this and as ever, we welcome emails from everyone sent to sapresident@abdn.ac.uk. Until next month, cheerio! | BOOK OF MONTH With its spectacular illustrations and expert commentary, “The Granite Mile: The Story of Aberdeen's Union Street” is one of the most important books on Aberdeen ever published.
