THANK YOU!

We would like to say thank you to our generous supporters who have participated in the annual regular giving campaign over the last year. Your contributions in response to our mail, e-mail and telephone appeals, and through use of your MBNA credit cards and Amazon purchases have resulted in our most successful regular giving year ever.

Graduates of the Class of 2012 are already eagerly following the philanthropic example you have set, by donating over £1000 during graduation week to support future students at the University of Aberdeen.

Help our athletes go for gold!

With the Olympics underway, why not show your team spirit by completing our short survey on an exciting new development in sport at Aberdeen. By participating you'll also find out about the connections between The University of Aberdeen and these Olympic Games, and have the opportunity to pledge your support to future generations of athletes who will train in Aberdeen.

Your opinion as a graduate is greatly valued. The survey will only take a few minutes, but your responses will have a lasting impact.

On your marks, get set, go!

STUDENT FOCUS

Charities Campaign

Aberdeen Students Charities campaign is best known for two things, Student Show and Torcher parade and this year they were back again. Student Show this year was the story of “Mary Torphins” a doric adaptation of the popular Disney classic. As always this 91 year old institution did not disappoint and sold out HMT helping raise thousands for the campaign. The Torcher Parade also came back for another year of causing havoc on the roads, ruining many a taxi drivers favoured routes and of course collecting those ever important coppers from the locals of Aberdeen. This years’ floats included a very expertly designed Harry Potter float complete with robes, a pirate ship which dominated Union Street and a very scary and realistic death star float.
