DEVELOPMENT FOCUS
If your phone rings then it may be us
Throughout April and May students from the University of Aberdeen will be contacting alumni to find out what you have been up to since graduation and to update you on the range of exciting projects that you can support. So far this year, you have donated a fantastic £480,000 leaving us just £175,000 short of beating last year’s total! With four months left to reach our goal, you can do it and transform the student experience for future generations. We look forward to catching up with you soon. .

STUDENT FOCUS
Aberdeen University students lead the way in breaking the silence of mental health.
In Autumn 2011 AUSA were successful in their bid for funding from See Me in their Local Grant Awards Scheme to host a carnival themed campaign, Breaking the Silence.
The highlight of the week was a carnival themed parade through Aberdeen city to tackle the stigma associated with mental health and to encourage people to talk about their mental health, breaking the silence of the city. The parade was a community event, involving not only students but everyone who wanted to tackle the stigma associated with mental health, including organisations that support people with mental ill-health.
